"We are building a business our children would be proud to continue. We strive to improve the financial well-being of those we serve and have a lasting and positive impact on our community."
Our passion for the financial services business is rooted in the following values shared by all of us at Riverbend Financial:
We are very proud of our organization, and we are excited for you to get to know us personally. Here’s a little about our team until we have a chance to meet.
Andy Burdsall is the president of Riverbend Financial Group. His focuses include asset management, charitable giving and developing efficient financial strategies.
Andy grew up in an Air Force family and moved around the country, settling in Kansas City when he was in fourth grade. After earning a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Iowa State University, Andy worked in engineering, supervision and management until 1999, when he and his wife, Deanna, decided to make a career change. Andy joined American Express Financial Advisors and eventually moved his practice from Louisville, Kentucky, to New Albany, Indiana. He was instrumental in founding Navigator Financial Group in December 2001, became the sole owner of the business in September 2003 and continued as president when the business became Riverbend Financial in July 2007.
Andy is a Registered Principal with Securities America and a financial advisor with Securities America Advisors.
Deanna and Andy live in New Albany with their two girls, Camryn and Ellie. They enjoy volunteering at church and watching the kids grow up.
Adam works closely with the financial advisors of Riverbend Financial Group; providing support in the financial planning, strategy, and investment selection processes.
Adam graduated from Indiana University Southeast in 2000. He joined the firm in 1998 through an internship program that was offered at IUS.
Adam and his wife, Tiffany, live in Memphis with their two children, Parker and Sophie. Adam enjoys watching college and professional football.
As a financial professional with Riverbend Financial Group, Zach L. Stuck has made it his mission to assist clients in achieving their personal goals by building and developing strong, longstanding relationships with them.
Zach’s passion for personal finances and investing started at a young age when he saw how hard his parents worked to provide for his siblings and himself. His parents had to closely manage their finances so they could send their children to private schools and have enough money for them to enjoy activities growing up, like playing sports. Naturally, Zach wanted to help, and so he made his first investment at age 13.
Zach went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in management from the University of Louisville. While there, he was honored to be chosen for the University of Louisville’s undergraduate CFA Research Challenge Team.
Within three months of graduation, he had passed all required licensing exams to become an Investment Advisor Representative. He serves the Louisville, Kentucky, and Southern Indiana area and currently holds his Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, as well as his state life and health insurance licenses.
Residing in Louisville, Zach enjoys relaxing on Sundays with his family and exercising with his dogs: two Boxers and a Doberman. For some reason, they all think they are lap dogs.
Ross N. Heinz is a financial advisor with Riverbend Financial Group. Ross was drawn to the financial field because of his passion for serving others and his desire to learn in a challenging and ever-changing industry. He previously interned at the firm while still in college at Indiana University Southeast. After earning his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, he was hired full time.
Before diving into the financial industry, Ross searched for a job that would challenge him while doing the most good for others. He served in the Congressman’s office, connecting individuals with reliable answers on a case-by-case basis. He ran an athletic department and helped athletes, coaches and families take steps toward their expressed goals. Ross discovered a growing interest in microeconomics while volunteering for a mission organization in Haiti that helped empower several communities.
Ross holds his Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, as well as his life and health insurance license. He primarily focuses on holistic financial planning and legacy planning.
In his free time, Ross enjoys traveling, playing and listening to music, coaching athletics and volunteering. He is very close to his extended family and spends as much time with them as possible. He and his wife do almost everything together. They live in New Albany, Indiana, with their Maltipoo named Ella.
